i like the idea of making the Platz as a real Platz by reorganizing its traffic mess… I really hate it there because the traffic junction cuts apart the only flat place around there. I found it smart to make a contrast against Bellevue, which works quite well as a big traffic junction, with its beautiful tram stops in a large place, adjacent huge square and broard sidewalks.
Atelierhaus Bill, Max Bill
completed in 1933. It is used as ‘Bill Stiftung’ now. year 2008 was 100th anniversary of Max Bill and there held a big retrospective. As for me, I like ‘Die Hochschule für Gestaltung’ and Ulmer Stuhl among his plentiful works…
La Chaude Fondue
I had Fondue at my teacher’s place with other students. Lecker! But enough for me having one once or twice a year. La-Chaux-de-Fonds is a small town known for watches and, maybe, Le Corbusier. Visited Le Corbusier’s early works to experience their interior space.
